Project 1:

(School Files)

Case

Accessing a student’s files can be a clunky process for parents. Even though they have legal access to cumulative records, logistically getting to them is a pain. They have to request help from staff that is likely already understaffed, wait to be seen, figure out exactly what they’re looking for in the file, etc.

The problem.

Parents need access when advocating for their children.

The solution.

A mobile app that lets parents easily access their child’s cumulative records anytime, without having to go through the school office.

Accessibility Considerations

Based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Iconography is universally recognizable and paired with optional text labels.

Language selector available on the home screen for multilingual access.

Clear, consistent navigation patterns to reduce cognitive load.

Touch-friendly interactive elements meeting size and spacing guidelines.
